Surgery has become immensely complex and the demands for quality and better outcomes are increasing. Surgeons lack assistance to cope with the complexity and a conservative surgical culture stall innovation.
At EHiN 2021 Knut Borch, surgeon at University hospital of North Norway and the CINO at Alfred Surgery, will talk about how challenges in surgical education and safety can be solved by bottom up innovation. Through extensive collaboration between world experts and inexperienced surgeons, a new evidence based learning community emerge to improve surgical training and promote a safer surgical culture.
