Maria Ulvestad
Maria Ulvestad holds a Nordic position as Associate Director, Scientific Outcomes Research at Bristol Myers Squibb. In this position, she is leading the company’s RWE strategy work within this region, including supporting RWD projects across the different therapeutic areas and throughout the drug development life cycle. Previously, Maria worked as Medical Advisor within cardiovascular diseases, immunology and in immuno-oncology, and she has several years’ experience working in pre-clinical drug development. Maria is passionate about increasing the utilization of and access to Norwegian and Nordic health data through private public partnerships, and to broaden the knowledge of the value of such collaborations to patients, health care professionals, payers and the society.
Maria holds a Master of Science in Pharmacy from the University of Oslo and an industrial PhD in pharmacology from AstraZeneca R&D Mölndal and the University of Oslo.
