Pål Hasvold is heading the Nordic AstraZeneca Medical Evidence team of epidemiologists, statisticians and project managers responsible 40 – 50 ongoing RWE studies across the Nordics. The team is responsible for study concepts, statistical methods, protocol development, results interpretation and publication of studies.
He has an extensive research record focused on the development for methods for the analysis and combination of different types of Real World Data including Electronic Healthcare Record data, Nation-wide Registers and Clinical Quality Registers data. He has over 30 publications in peer reviewed international journals. Pål holds a Master of Science in Pharmacy and a PhD in Pharmacoepidemiology from Oslo University, Norway.
