What if personal health could be created? If we could build a world in which people get sick no more. Delight thinking, removing\u00a0 frictions\u00a0 by applying\u00a0 emerging digital technologies and design ideas, is the magic secret. I\u2019ll show how that works. I\u2019ll introduce our Personal Digital Twin, our digital\u00a0 guardian\u00a0 angel,\u00a0 care\u00a0 companion\u00a0 and\u00a0 permanent personal\u00a0 assistant. I\u00a0 show how digital health applications allow us to access an almost untapped resource of data which will lead us into a new era of real personalized care and prevention.<\/p>\n

15.30-15.40: Ending childhood obesity by data-driven whole-of-community approach<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In Sweden maintaining the population healthy is becoming increasingly difficult with increasing number of unhealthy individuals and health budgets. Prevention has the capacity to revert these negative trends. However, in order to be sustainable prevention needs to engage multiple actors in society long-term which is challenging.<\/u><\/u><\/span><\/p>\n

To address this challenge the national initiative \u201cEnding Childhood Obesity\u201d (ECHO) was initiated in 2020 by the Swedish strategic health innovation program Swelife. During the first year ECHO has engaged a comprehensive partnership of national, regional and local governing bodies, universities and institutes, patient organizations, NGOs and representatives of the public and private sector. ECHO has concluded that, firstly, changing society towards prevention requires system transformation. Secondly, municipalities and their regions offer the needed complexity of actors and will be used as testbed. Thirdly, system transformation will be followed by collecting data at different levels of society, data which will be analyzed and used to develop and optimize strategies to transform society towards prevention.<\/span><\/p>\n
