The EU’s Mission on Cancer has a bold vision to transform the lives of over 3 million individuals ? from prevention and treatment to post-cancer care. As the Nordics work towards becoming the world’s most integrated health region by 2030, how do their goals intersect with the EU’s Beating Cancer Plan? Can the Nordic region’s collaborative spirit accelerate progress on the European front?<\/p>\n

Comparable cancer statistics for Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden, the Faroe Islands, and Greenland.<\/p>\n

Tabulated data are made available by the Association of the Nordic Cancer Registries (ANCR) , and data are delivered from each national cancer registry and cause of death registry. Population registers make it possible to follow up each cancer patient for death and emigration when calculating prevalence and relative survival.<\/p>\n
