The Future of Mental Health
– What draws me to the field of digital mental health is the exciting range of possibilities that are emerging at the same time that will help us bridge the gaps in access to care. Firstly, globally particularly as a result of the experience of the pandemic the uptake and use of digital services and eHealth has become normalised far more than ever before. Secondly at the same time as the use of eHealth has become acceptable to consumers, the capacity of technology to function smoothly and effectively- scope for interoperability in health care. Because these two major shifts are occurring at the same time it makes innovation and design much more possible and the resulting experiences that can be created i think will significantly improve uptake and therefore access to earlier treatment and prevention of acute deterioration of mental illness.
With this words, Rachel Green from the Australian organisation SANE introduces her work to innovate mental health in her country. Rachel will be one of the major keynotes at EHiN, setting the stage for an extended program with focus on different sides of mental health and technology.
(Denne sesjonen er på engelsk. Den introduserer en større del av programmet som har fokus på psykisk helse. Mye vil foregår på norsk).
In this session Rachel Green will present the changes in Mental health in Australia, and after that there will be a conversation on the future if mental health.
