Mandy Aalderink

Mandy Aalderink is the program manager for Artificial Intelligence at Elisabeth-Tweesteden Hospital (ETZ) in the Netherlands, one of the first two hospitals outside of the United States that have implemented Generative AI in their EHR (Epic). Mandy has a broad experience with EHR implementation, on a technical as well as an organisational level, and has worked with Epic for 11 years across various organisations in the Netherlands and Europe. Two years ago she fully transitioned to working on AI implementation, and is now leading the AI program at ETZ. She will be presenting on the elements that are required to successfully implement AI in healthcare, not just as pieces of functionality into the EHR but as a new technology into the organisation as a whole. Mandy will be starting as Program Director of AI at Helseplattformen starting in August, to play a role in setting up AI governance for the organisations.
