Wellvia
Wellvia is the commercial health and wellbeing service of the Estonian digital health platform e-Perearstikeskus. Through Wellvia, patients get quick access to services such as express prescription renewal, first consultations online, and other health assistance – delivered by qualified and licensed healthcare professionals who value fast, clear, and patient-friendly communication. The underlying e-Perearstikeskus is one of Estonia’s three national digital service platforms for family doctor services, used by more than 160 family doctor centres and over 300 family doctors. The platform provides secure communication between patients and family doctor centres, with features such as prescription renewal, sick leave certificates, video consultations, and a health diary. Wellvia demonstrates how established digital channels in primary healthcare can be extended with new, faster services for patients – a model highly relevant to the digitalisation of the Norwegian health sector.
