What if we stop our aging process?

Can we stay young forever?

What if humans were more like turtoils, and would not genetically age after 60? Is that possible? And if it is possible, what would it mean for our society and our health care system.

Ageing – not cancer, not heart disease – is the worlds leading cause of death and suffering, Steel states. What would the world be like if we could cure it? Living disease-free until the age of 100 is achievable within our lifetimes.

Andrew Steele is a scientist, writer and campaigner based in Berlin, and the author of Ageless: The New Science of Getting Older Without Getting Old.

In this session, Andrew Steele tells about his book, his visions on ageing and what that would mean for the future of human beings. In the second part, there will be a conversation with some Norqegian experts on this field.

The Independent on Ageless:

«A startling wake-up call . . . Writing with the vim of a Bill Bryson and the technical knowledge of a scientist, Steele gives us a chance to grasp what»s at stake«
