Kalevi Nummelin
Kalevi Nummelin worked in the IT Department of HUS (Helsinki University Hospital) from 1984 to 2024. He began his career as a Systems Designer and Programmer, later serving as a Development Manager. Over the years, Kalevi has been involved in nearly every area of healthcare IT. For the last 17 years of his career, besides his other duties, he was responsible for the overall functionality of message traffic and integrations at HUS, ensuring the reliable flow of information across Finland’s largest healthcare organization. After reaching the official maximum retirement age in December 2024, Kalevi continues to contribute his expertise as a part-time advisor at JediSoft, supporting the development of integration tools and best practices for healthcare IT environments.
