Sofia Peltola

Sofia Peltola is a specialist at the Finnish Innovation Fund Sitra and works in the coordination team of two international health data projects, TEHDAS2 and VALO, which advance the implementation of the European Health Data Space. Previously, she worked within a national health data authority, contributing to the cross-border secondary use of health data.

Ms Peltola holds two master’s degrees and has a multidisciplinary background, allowing her to combine a system-level view of the EHDS with an understanding of its broader societal implications. Her earlier career includes experience at the European Commission, a UN agency, and in diplomacy.
