Claus Duedal Pedersen has over 25 years of experience in healthcare technology. He was part of the implementation of national standards for healthcare communication and Denmark’s healthcare IT infrastructure. In 2012, he co-founded the Center for Innovative Medical Technologies (CIMT). CIMT fostered partnerships between healthcare organizations and industry. In 2019, he launched the Danish Centre for Clinical AI (CAI-X). From 2020 to 2024, he was director of the Sentinel Unit in Sundhed.dk for primary care research and quality infrastructure. From 2022 to 2025, he was CEO of the Sundhed.dk International Foundation, and in 2025 became an advisor for EHTEL and co-founded Stratos AI, focusing on AI-based colon cancer diagnostics.
