Together we create the future of health
The Nordics as Lighthouse and People-Centred Health Innovation at EHiN 2024
At EHiN’s big plenary session in 2024, we heard major visions from the public sector, presented by State Secretary Ellen Rønning-Arnesen and Minister of Digitalisation Karianne Tung. This was followed by Estonia’s Minister of Health, Riina Sikkut, who took the stage to talk about how the Nordic countries will collaborate moving forward. Clayton Hamilton from the World Health Organization continued the conversation by placing Norway and the Nordics in a broader international context.
Finally, we heard from Rachel Green, who travelled all the way from Australia to share how the organization SANE is using digital tools in the field of mental health. Natasha Phillips, former Chief Nurse Officer of the UK’s NHS and now leading the initiative Future Nurses, highlighted the crucial role of nurses in healthcare digitalization.
