Peeter Ross

Peeter Ross, MD, PhD is the head of E-Med Lab and a co-founder of Health Care Technology master’s program in Tallinn University of Technology (TalTech). He is one of the founding fathers of the Estonian e-health and holds a radiologists position in East Tallinn Central Hospital (ETCH). He is the founder and CEO of radiology and e-health consulting company SMIS International Ltd and e-health consultant in the World Bank and Asian Development Bank. Dr. Ross has previously worked as a Director of R&D in ETCH, been a member of the supervisory board of the Estonian E-Health Foundation and Estonian Health Insurance Fund. Peeter is responsible for research and teaching healthcare innovation and use of digital applications in health domain. He has participated actively in designing and implementation of Estonian nation-wide Health Information System. He has also been involved in several EU funded e-health projects.
